Network & security testing lab

Test. Compare. Decide.

We test network and security systems to order: your traffic profile, load past the rated limit and attack traffic on an isolated bench. You get measured values and the setup behind each one.

  • Independent: we compare, you decide
  • CloudLAB in Armenia – remote or on your site

How you connect

Two ways to run CloudLAB

Run everything on our side, or keep the system under test on your own site – either way you get the same automation and reporting

BROWSER INTERNET CLOUDLAB · ARMENIA TRAFFIC GENERATOR DUT / TOPOLOGY Everything above lives in our CloudLAB
Fully remote Browser only

Open a browser and you are in: the rig lives in our Armenia lab. Nothing to install on your side.

YOUR SITE LOAD MODULE virtual or appliance YOUR DUT physical or virtual HTTPS CLOUDLAB CONTROL · REPORTING
Testing on your site Agent connects out

A load module runs on your site: virtual on your hardware, or a hardware appliance we bring in. It drives traffic into your physical or virtual system and connects out to CloudLAB on its own: no VPN, no inbound ports to open. Control, automation and reporting stay in our cloud.

What's in the lab

Purpose-built tools, not a patchwork of trials

100G

Professional traffic generator

Line-rate traffic from 1G up to 100G ports, across every protocol your stack actually runs.

Security testing software

DDoS and security strikes plus AppMix application traffic, run under production-like conditions.

Cloud-native testing software

Easy deployment and agent-based mesh testing across any cloud, hybrid or on-prem environment.

NGFWTLSL7 100G

High-performance testing hardware

NGFW, TLS and L7 testing at up to 100G, on purpose‑built lab hardware we maintain and calibrate.

AppMix · real protocol shares

Test with your traffic mix, not a canned PCAP

Modern firewalls, DPI engines and application-aware routers behave differently for every protocol and application. Replaying an old capture or running legacy packet-blasting tests gives numbers that look precise and mean nothing for your network.

  • PCAP replay is not real traffic

A capture is stateless and stale: no live TLS handshakes, no application logic, no sessions the device actually has to track

  • Legacy tests mis-rate modern devices

Raw-packet throughput says little about a box that inspects, decrypts and classifies every flow. The results come out inflated or simply wrong.

  • We build the mix from your data

We capture a traffic profile on your network or pull it from your NMS / APM systems, then turn it into an AppMix: the share of each protocol and application in the aggregate load the test generates

YOUR NETWORK capture on a link NMS / APM existing stats TRAFFIC PROFILE share of total load HTTPS 42% Video 18% SaaS / API 15% Other 12% VoIP 9% DNS 4% TEST LOAD same mix · 100 Gbps 2M sessions YOUR DEVICE PCAP REPLAY · LEGACY TEST one flat stream, no state, years old throughput looks fine · NGFW / DPI never really tested APPMIX FROM YOUR PROFILE stateful, current, per-application numbers you can put in a procurement decision

How we work with you

Six ways we plug into your testing lifecycle

CONSULT VALIDATE AUTOMATE METHODS LAB SETUP TRAIN ONE PARTNER ACROSS THE WHOLE CYCLE

T&M Consulting

Analysing system requirements and building optimised testing strategies that reduce risk during development, procurement and operations.

Pre-purchase validation

Independent validation of new hardware and software against technical requirements before deployment – lower rollout risk, faster time to market.

Automation

Custom automated testing architectures that cut operational overhead and deliver faster, repeatable results.

Test methodologies

Structured scenarios covering real-world use cases and edge conditions, catching issues before they become costly fixes.

Lab solution selection

Choosing the right hardware, software and virtual tools for your actual workload – accurate results without overprovisioning.

Training programs

Hands-on training so your own engineers can run precise, extensive performance and functionality tests.

Who comes to the bench

Built for three kinds of teams

01 Generator Your device DATASHEET 100 Gbps ON THE BENCH 71 Gbps −29%

Vendors and NEMs

The datasheet says 100 Gbps. The customer’s lab says 71.

  • Throughput, session capacity and convergence from an independent bench with the customer's traffic profile, before the customer measures them
  • The same plan on every firmware: a diff against the last run instead of a new argument
  • A report the customer accepts because it names the setup, the generator and the traffic mix
Prove the numbers
02 SAME LAB · SAME LOAD REQUIREMENT 94%71%88% Vendor AVendor BVendor C

System integrators

Three vendors in the tender, one month to choose, every datasheet says the same

  • Same lab, same load, same week: the candidates side by side in one table
  • Acceptance test before hand-over, so the customer signs on measured numbers
  • Pre-sales demos with live traffic on the candidate instead of slides
Compare candidates
03 Datasheet Firewall + IPS + TLS inspection + threats 40 38 18 9 6 Gbps

Enterprise customers

Every security feature on, the 40 Gbps firewall passes 6

  • NGFW, IPS and VPN measured with your policy and threats in the traffic
  • Capacity numbers for the budget: what the box holds with every feature on
  • Failover and upgrade under load on the bench, not in production
Size the perimeter

How we validate

Conformance. Function. Breaking point.

DEVICE UNDER TEST CONFORMANCE REPORT RFC 2544 Throughput · latency RFC 2889 Forwarding · MAC RFC 9411 Security devices ITU-T Y.1564 Ethernet services TR-398 Wi-Fi access points BGP · OSPF Protocol implementation CONFORMS

Conformance testing

Protocol conformance state by state: BGP, OSPF, IPv6, IPsec and EVPN, including the malformed messages a demo never sends. Then the functional list from your RFP, interoperability with the neighbours already in your network, and the tender benchmarks where the text names them: RFC 2544, RFC 9411, ITU-T Y.1564, TR-398.

ACTIVE STANDBY 0.8 s FEATURE CHECKLIST NAT & policy IPsec VPN HA failover QoS rule #14

Functional testing

Every configuration path, including the ones the demo skipped: NAT and security policy, IPsec and SSL VPN, HA switchover, OSPF and BGP convergence, QoS, dual-stack, logging and management APIs. Each feature either behaves as the spec says or goes into the report.

YOUR REAL TRAFFIC STATED LIMIT · 100 Gbps BREAKS AT 68 Gbps 100G 50G 0 APPMIX LOAD

Stress testing

Load ramps past the stated limit: throughput, concurrent sessions, new connections and TLS handshakes per second, on an AppMix built from your traffic profile. A box rated at 100 Gbps of raw packets folds much earlier under HTTPS, video and VoIP with attacks in the background. We find the point and the shape of the fall.
